Email

Your verification code,
right where you need it

New emails appear at the top of the list, with the message open beside it. Sample verification codes are highlighted; real emails keep the sender’s original content and formatting, making notifications, receipts, and verification details easy to check.

Retention

Kept for 3 hours by default,
with another 3 hours whenever you need

The countdown stays next to your address. When it’s about to expire, click “Add 3 hours” to keep the address and received emails. When time runs out, both are deleted—nothing is stored long term.

Before you start, consider these three things

Disposable email works best for one-off tasks. Use an address you control long term for account recovery and billing.

Which email to use for a software trial

Check the trial terms and whether you’ll need future access. A temporary address separates emails but won’t cancel a subscription or stop automatic renewal.

Temporary email not receiving a verification code?

Check the address and its expiry first, then look into delivery delays, domain restrictions, and resend intervals to avoid repeatedly switching addresses.

Email forwarding

Need an address that keeps receiving email?

Log in to create dedicated aliases for different websites and forward incoming messages to your personal inbox. If an alias starts receiving marketing emails, disable it individually. Forwarding logs are kept for 30 days; temporary inbox messages aren’t included.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn’t my temporary email receiving a verification code?

Wait a minute, then refresh once. If the code still hasn’t arrived, check that you copied the full address and that it hasn’t expired, then request another code after the sender’s required interval. Some websites block disposable email addresses, so switching addresses may not help; forwarding aliases aren’t guaranteed to be accepted either. Follow our verification code troubleshooting guide to check each possibility.

How long can I use a disposable email address?

New addresses are kept for 3 hours by default, and the time remaining appears beside the address. Each time you click “Add 3 hours,” another 3 hours are added to the remaining time. When it expires, the address and emails are deleted. For longer-term needs, see our address lifespan guide.

Can I send email from the web inbox?

No. Inboxonce temporary email is for receiving messages only—you can’t send or reply to emails. Please don’t use it for everyday correspondence.

Can other people see the emails I receive?

Your inbox uses an access credential stored in your browser. Anyone with that credential can access your emails, so don’t share it or receive sensitive information on a shared device. Use an email address you control long term for banking, government services, or accounts you may need to recover. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

What are the PayPal and Steam emails in the list?

These are sample emails showing how verification codes and purchase receipts appear. They’re not affiliated with either brand and don’t mean those services accept disposable email. Once your address receives a real email, the samples are hidden automatically. Deleting a sample only affects what’s shown on this page.
